High-K is a bioencapsulated, ionized nanometer-sized Potassium, embedded in an amino acid matrix and bioencapsulated using biopolymers, combined with vitamin D3 and an osmo protector. Potassium present in High-K, an essential nutrient but it is not naturally produced by the body. It is an electrolyte which conducts electrical impulses within the organism to activate various cell and nerve functions. Potassium is also associated with movement of water, nutrients and carbohydrates in the animal tissue. Shrimp in particular require potassium for protein synthesis.
